CoSign

Business + Artist + Signmaker = CoSign

CoSign is designed to enhance economic activity in Greater Cincinnati neighborhood business districts by bringing artists, small businesses, and professional sign fabricators together to design and install unique handcrafted signage for local retailers. The first two CoSign projects took place in Northside, a revitalized neighborhood located six miles north of downtown Cincinnati, and the third took place in Covington, Kentucky.

Bluestone was contracted to document the process after our non-profit art project, a collaboration with Alias Imaging known as the Queen City Project, was discovered by the individuals behind CoSign. Working in the “QCP” style, we told the story of CoSign through photography driven video.

The sign installations help create a diverse aesthetic bond that supports and encourages the revitalization of the greater Cincinnati area. We set out to showcase the individuality and quality of the project and the businesses that it supports. The photography and videography produced not only showcased the work being done, but created an overall visual story that brought life to the project and displayed the tight-knit community that it truly is.
